the mood of the track is bleak and dark, forlorn, mysterious, tragic. the track is about loss, he is a lost and wandering soul, crushed, brokenhearted, her silver locket still in his pocket, heavy as gold. hands in his pocket, he kicks a rock down a dark road, pondering loss, trying to understand, trying to determine the best road for him now. Which road will he choose?

Instrumentally, a simple rock ballad with kit drums, bass guitar, 12-string acoustic dreadnought guitar, organ, vocals, harmony, sparse FX
