liner notes:
up-tempo roots rock ska one-drop reggae. this is an original song about the power and the joy of music. music is a medicine, an anodyne. it is the town cryer, the newspaper, the heartbeat, the backbone, the nation. it is the universal uniter. it is as necessary and needed as the air we breath. all my music is "message music", which of course is a tautology, the way i look at life. (this idea pervades my new paperback "Lyrics, Poems, and Stories, a Literary Lifetime", which may be purchased cheap on Amazon, look up flutemanjohn, please and thank you.)
